San Andreas Senate Resolution

Resolution No. 001-2019
A Resolution to allow the State Senate to appoint members to standing commettees.

WHEREAS the San Andreas State Senate Standing Committee on Rules and Ethics reserves the authority to appoint members to standing committees.

WHEREAS the San Andreas State Senate Standing Committee on Rules and Ethics with accordance to the Standing Rules.

WHEREAS the Committee on Rules and Ethics shall appoint all other committees of the Senate and shall designate a chair for each committee. In making committee appointments, the Committee on Rules and Ethics shall give consideration to seniority, preference, and experience. However, in making committee appointments, the Committee on Rules and Ethics shall, as far as practicable, give equal representation to all parts of the state.

RESOLVED the San Andreas State Senate appoints: For the Standing Committee on Public Safety Oversight, Tyler Shore from the 2nd Senatorial District will be the chairman. Under his leadership, he will have:
  • Michael Blackburn from the 3rd Senatorial District;
  • Clayton Cunningham from the 7th Senatorial District and;
  • Daniel Mattis from the 6th Senatorial District.
For the Standing Committee on Business, Professions, and Economic Development, Jimmy Alexander from the 5th Senatorial District will be the chairman. Under his leadership, he will have:
  • Magnus King from the 9th Senatorial District;
  • Thomas Hensley from the 4th Senatorial District.
For the Standing Committee on Judiciary and Criminal Justice, Adam Freeman from the 8th Senatorial District will be the chairman. Under his leadership, he will have:
  • Matt Flores from the 1st Senatorial District;
  • Clayton Cunningham from the 7th Senatorial District and;
  • Thomas Hensley from the 4th Senatorial District.
For the Standing Committee on Finance and State Appropriations, Magnus King from the 9th Senatorial District will be the chairman. Under his leadership, he will have:
  • Daniel Mattis from the 6th Senatorial District;
  • Adam Freeman from the 8th Senatorial District and;
  • Michael Blackburn from the 3rd Senatorial District.
